rosy & cosy

Yesterday, I was able to sneak out for a little while. Stopping first, at the craft store for some 'projects' for my littlest. She's still really under the weather, but desperate for something to do. I picked up some fun little things and she's been happily 'getting her craft' on...

A quick run into another store, and I spotted the perfect gift for my mother-in-law.

A vintage-style hot water bottle wearing a sweet rose covered cosy.

I think she'll be pleased. In recent years, her mobility has decreased to the point where she's essentially bed-bound. As you can imagine, finding a perfect gift for her is like finding the proverbial 'needle in a haystack'.

I'll be sharing some of my gift-giving ideas, in the next few weeks. While carefully avoiding spilling 'any beans', if you know what I mean.

This squirrel bedecked composition book followed me home. Rosie's been busy drawing pictures of people and things she's thankful for...
Find it at eeBoo.
I wonder if I made the list?

What a pretty little hot water bottle for you MIL. I'm sure she will love it! The squirrel notebook is super cute, and I bet it put a smile on Rosie's face! Poor little dear. That Hep can hang around for a while. Hoping that she has the fast healing version.

I am supremely fond of those water bottles. I fondly remember the warmth they gave me during an illness. I am sure that she will love it.
